Patisserie Royale invites you to come and savour the very best of Middle Eastern baking expertise and tradition. Continuing a practice begun centuries ago in Syria, Patisserie Royale uses only the finest ingredients to offer the very best in traditional Syrian and Lebanese pastries.

Prior to opening Patisserie Royale in Scarborough, the owner, Mounzer Jamous managed Patisserie Mahrouse in Montreal's Park Extension, a bakery owned by the great-great-great grandson of Syria's legendary Mahrouse family. After learning the secret art of making the tastiest pastries possible from the biggest name in Middle Eastern baking, Mounzer brought that knowledge with him to establish Toronto's pre-eminent Middle Eastern pastry shop in 1997.

Only the top quality ingredients find their way into every Patisserie Royale sweet. Using the same tried and true recipes handed down through the generations; each delicate pastry is assembled by hand and is made with real clarified butter, Californian nuts, Canadian flour and pistachios from Turkey.
